Welcome to Cheshire Rural Touring Arts

Cheshire Rural Touring Arts is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation. We present a diverse mix of professional theatre, music, dance, and family shows across Cheshire's village halls, community centres, libraries, and theatre venues.

Coming soon is our Autumn 2024 season - think 5* comedic re-enactments of funerals told through hilarious dance theatre, stories of the Lancastrian war-time singer Kathleen Ferrier, heart-warming tales of gardening and growing food and communities coming together, a sinister murder mystery promised to deliver a lot of laughs, the internationally acclaimed Tashi Lhunpo Monks performing their magical masked dance and sacred chants, humorous songs and stories bursting with characters from Blackpool's B&Bs, evocative sounds of folkloric music and gypsy jazz from Canadian musicians, and a lively New Orleans Jazz band and festive Christmas ghost stories to finish.

See our What's On page for further details.

A big thank you to our volunteer promoters who help to select our CRTA shows, host artists, and provide a warm welcome for audiences.

Thank you to our audiences for your support, we look forward to seeing you at an event soon.

Any updates will be posted online at https://en-gb.facebook.com/CheshireRuralTouringArts/ and at http://cheshireruraltouringarts.co.uk
